Reiki is a Japanese hands on healing technique that restores balanced energy flow throughout the body.

Reiki translated means “Universal life force energy” and someone trained in Reiki can channel that energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

This can help alleviate everything from physical pain, headaches, and cold symptoms to aiding emotional/mental health challenges such as stress and anxiety.

Reiki sessions are typically 45-60 minutes long. You will lay on your back fully clothed on a massage table for the duration of the treatment. Afterwards most clients feel a huge sense of relief and leave feeling peaceful and relaxed.

Melanie is different from other massage therapists. She will take the time to investigate and assess your pain, tension or condition so that your massage therapy treatment will help you feel your best.

Melanie can provide you with as much or as little deep tissue pressure as you need and enjoy. She enjoys making your therapeutic treatment as relaxing as possible, so you leave the treatment feeling refreshed. Melanie will keep her focus on you, her client, so you will feel cared for and pampered as well as healing your pain, tension or condition.

Melanie will offer you advice to help further at home with exercises and self-care tips. She also uses appropriate use of heat and cold therapy to ensure your muscles are not left sore or overly tender. If you wish, Melanie can use essential oils that can help you further with your condition or pain and tension.

Melanie will book any and all clients and does not discriminate.

Beshoy’s interest in human anatomy first led him to pursuing an undergraduate degree in health sciences at Western University. Upon completion, Beshoy was still on the quest to find a hands-on profession that will allow him to utilize functional anatomy. It was his belief in the interrelationship between structure and function of the human body to help people that led him to discovering the world of osteopathy. He has since been using his manual skills and osteopathic principles to provide tailored treatments to restore health since graduating from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2018. Beshoy is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and gain further knowledge to aid him in providing the best treatments for his patients.

In 1999, Kathy stepped into her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. She enjoyed learning and growing in her previous work environments, which consisted of Pharmacy Assistant & Management, Retail Management (music), and Personal Training. Her passion for natural healing, education and helping people reach their goals guided her to Massage Therapy. Early in her career she recognized the connection between mental and emotional stress and how trauma can be “stored” in the physical body, creating patterns of pain and poor health and mobility of the muscles and fascia. This connection lead to studying and becoming certified in other modalities that she uses in conjunction with massage therapy. Essential Oil Applications, Spiritual Psychology and Reiki are just a few of her favourite modalities to help people relieve and manage chronic Stress, Pain, and Anxiety.

Kathy brings knowledge, kindness, compassion and a spiritual aspect to her practice. She is intuitive and can easily “tap” into the unspoken information of what is happening in the body, mind and spirit. However she is just as passionate and respectful of science and tangible information. All aspects are required to be able to create an effective treatment plan that helps a client attain their physical health goals.

In 1999, Kathy stepped into her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. She enjoyed learning an... Read More
